The Jaipur home prioritizes thermal mass for temperature swings and groundwater recharge. Bangalore sits between these extremes, benefiting from moderate temperatures but facing acute water scarcity—making rainwater harvesting non-negotiable.
The net-zero home isn't about heroic self-sufficiency or rejecting the grid entirely. It's about a conversation between building and environment, where the architecture does most of the heavy lifting, and technology refines what physics has already achieved.
