Why balcony design matters in Colaba
Colaba has 13+ residential communities on our radar, including Atur Apartments, Chawla House and Clover Apartment. Whether you have just taken possession or are upgrading an older home, a balcony makeover is one of the projects homeowners here ask us about most.
In Mumbai a balcony has to survive a heavy monsoon, salt air near the coast and intense humidity — so materials, drainage and plant choice matter as much as looks, and any enclosure has to respect society rules.

- ✓ Planters, irrigation and plants chosen for your sun direction

How does a balcony makeover work with Ander Baher?
- 01
Site visit
We measure the space and check sun direction, slope, drainage outlets, waterproofing condition and what your society allows.
- 02
Concept & estimate
You get a layout, material and planting palette, and an itemised estimate before any work starts.
- 03
Build
Waterproofing checks first, then flooring, joinery, planters, lighting and planting — one team, one point of contact.
- 04
Handover & care
Care guidance at handover, with optional periodic garden and upkeep visits.
Most balcony makeovers take one to three weeks on site once the design is approved, depending on size and whether waterproofing is needed first.
